A Letter to My Mother

My dearest sweet loving mother,

I know you love me more than any other,

I know you do feel sad about me,

As the tears in your very eyes I can see.

I’m sorry Mom, but I really did try,

To make you laugh and not make you cry,

But I just don’t know why I cannot,

Be a true loving son, but I still cannot.

I toiled hard day & night, really hard,

I studied in the morn & eve, very hard,

But when results come, they are usually bad,

Oh! Mom! I don’t know why but I’m not bad.

I love you a lot, Mom, The Juliet of my Heart,

But nonetheless, I will strive hard to play my part,

Mom, I’m sorry I cannot be upto the mark,

Oh! Mom! Please don’t leave me in the dark…
