Love is so unpredictable

I fell in love with my heart’s desire,

On seeing her, my heart would burn with fire,

But I could not, never, bring myself up,

To tell it to her or just give it up.

Everyday I would stand staring at her,

And finally I would end up in her lure,

As days passed, I felt her stare piercing me,

And the love in her eyes, I could see.

But I was scared, if I make a mistake…

She too made the same foolish mistake,

We talked to each other many a times,

But I wished I could hold her all those times…

Time flew, a day arrived when we had to part,

Both of us were unwilling to let the other part,

I looked into her eyes and I got my answer,

And without any other thought, I held on to her….
